What do you need to make your

studies in Canada?

  • Have your current and valid passport.

  • You must register at a recognized and accredited academic institution.

  • Make the application for your visa for the purpose of studies.

  • Depending on the course of your choice and your nationality, you must have other additional requirements such as:

    • Certifications of previous studies.

    • Official test of your level of English (IELTS, TOEFL, FCE, CAE).

    • Medical Exams.

    • Financial capacity to pay for your study trip.

    • Explain the reasons why you want to make your study trip to this country.

    • Have a certificate of a criminal record.

Working in canada

Canada offers the possibility of working 20 hours a week with a study visa and while you are carrying out your studies, as long as the course you are taking corresponds to one of the following categories:

  • If you are a full-time student at a designated learning institution (DLI)

  • If you are enrolled in further studies such as vocational courses, certifications, professional training program or professional training and university degrees.

  • The duration of your course must be at least 6 months.

In this sense, it is not possible to work if you are taking a language course.
