Types of visa in Australia
1. Student visa (Sub-500)
The study visa in Australia will allow you to work from 20 hours a week (depending on your course) and full time once you are on vacation from your course. Most jobs for international students are casual positions in areas such as hospitality and tourism, cleaning, childcare, shop assistant, among others.
The advantage of these positions is that some have flexible hours, they are easier to apply and you can adapt them to your study schedule.
2. Tourist visa (Sub-600)
The tourist visa allows you to travel and stay in Australia between 3 months, 6 months, and/or 1 year depending on your visa conditions. With this visa it is not allowed to work and you can only study up to 3 months of a course.
3. Work and holiday visa (Sub-462)
This is a visa that combines the possibility of working and enjoying the country for a period of approximately 1 year. During this period you will have the opportunity to travel, work, and live in the destination of your choice.
